ComponentOne PayPal eCommerce
for ASP.NET is a free eCommerce control that provides real-time
credit card processing for ASP.NET websites and applications.
This easy-to-use control enables .NET developers to instantly
create a merchant account with PayPal in minutes! By simply
using an email address, you can get up and running and start
collecting online payments immediately. ComponentOne PayPal
eCommerce for ASP.NET provides three eCommerce wizards that
create payment buttons for single-item purchases (C1PurchaseItem)
or multiple-item purchases (C1AddToCart, C1CartCheckOut).
C1PurchaseItem control
The C1PurchaseItem control is an image button that, when
clicked, redirects the browser to the PayPal payment page
and provides the information used by the PayPal server to
customize the page and handle the purchase request. Simply
add the control to a page, set a few properties that describe
the product, and immediately start accepting payments from
customers with any major credit card.
C1AddToCart control
The C1AddToCart control is an image button that, when clicked,
adds an item to the customer's PayPal shopping cart. The
C1AddToCart control has a subset of the properties in the
C1PurchaseItem control.
C1CartCheckout control
The C1CartCheckout control is an image button that displays
the PayPal shopping cart. The shopping cart has buttons
that allow the user to change quantities, remove items,
recalculate the total, and check out.
Implementing these two quick and easy controls, you can
allow your customers to select items to buy, view and edit
the shopping cart, then check out and pay for purchases
with any major credit card.
