webPeddle
is a basic storefront that allows the merchant to set up a
product list and automatically import that list into the storefront
where the items can be displayed. The storefront supports
dynamic rendering of a selection list of items using links
anywhere within the website with a "type" search
term. The storefront also supports the display of thumbnail
images within a select list.
From a selection list, a customer can enter quantities
to add items to the shopping cart. Submitting the cart returns
a shipping address information form where a shipping method
can be specified.
If the merchant has subscribed to a BakPak or IAMS back
office utility, a credit card information form will be returned
when the shipping form is submitted. Otherwise, a thank
you message will be returned to the customer with a notice
that the order confirmation e-mail will have payment instructions.
The merchant receives the original e-mail order.
